Stories from Camp Street: Black Providence in the 20th Century is a digital history, project-based mode with youth-produced digital and performance arts projects tethered in the histories and stories of Black Rhode Islanders.

A restorative history project centered on the collections of Onna Moniz-John's provenance and oral history.

MIGRATION OF BLACK NURSES

Project Cost: $50,000

Migration of Black Nurses into Providence Healthcare focuses on women who received their formal education in the American south and brought to the Ocean State their learnings to their new communities to care for the sick and infirmed.
